Celtic Cross Drawing eCourse

CA$40.00

Celtic Crosses have captured our imaginations for centuries. Many have tried to determine when they were carved or drawn and by whom. Over time, several different variations have imerged.

This is a three-part course with pre-recorded content. A basic Celtic Knot course is required or at least experience drawing grid-based knots with a variety of barriers. You will be added to the course in the learning center the same day you register.

You can start the course at any time and go at your own pace.

You will need a few supplies for this course:

Celtic Knot Practice

  • Paper or a journal. Paper should be cut to 4" square (10 cm). I prefer using watercolor paper for the weight and you just never know when you might like to add color.

  • Black in pen, I prefer Micron .01.

  • 2B pencil. I also like the F and HB pencil for shading.

  • Tortillon or smudge stick for smoothing out the graphite.

Celtic Knot Card

  • Card blank 5x7 (12.5x17.5 cm), I am using a Strathmore watercolor card blank.

  • Black in pen, I prefer Micron .01.

  • 2B pencil. I also like the F and HB pencil for shading.

  • Tortillon or smudge stick for smoothing out the graphite.

  • Your favorite watercolor medium, I'll be using watercolor pencils.

Celtic Cross Art Piece

  • Watercolor paper 7x9 (18x23 cm), I will be using Bristol hot press watercolor paper.

  • Black in pen, I prefer Micron .01.
