This special in-person Knitter’s Day Out is packed with technique and project lessons, tips for keeping your body relaxed, delightful class kits, sharing, healthy lunch, shopping, and fun.

Hands-on projects and lessons include:

• Lace knitting – we supply the yarn and written instructions, and you bring the needles. You will make a small usable lace knitted bag.

• Felted soap – we supply the roving in blank and colour options with written instructions, and you bring your favourite bar of soap.

• Finishing and blocking techniques – learn about those special touches and techniques that make your finished piece look more professional with a great fit.

• 2-stranded colour knitting - learn about the technique of carrying two strands of yarn to make a colourful practice square. We supply the yarn and instructions, and you supply your favourite size of needles.
